Are there any promotions or discounts for first-time customers?
Join before July 16th, and the summer is free for either yourself or for your daughter. This means your daughter (and there is no age restriction: college- age daughters welcome as well!) can come to the gym with you for the summer without any fees or contract. You can also check for national Curves promotions here.

What is the length of contract? Are there exceptions?
You can either sign up for a 12-month contract, or you can go month by month. The choice is yours. If you choose the 12-month option and you then move your residence to a place more than 25 miles from a Curves gym, you will be released from the contract. You will also be released from the contract in some circumstances if a doctor orders that you not use the services of the gym. A full list of exceptions is listed on the contract.

What if I am travelling or out of town for awhile?
If you have a 12-month contract, you will be able to aquire a travel pass for those days / weeks you're on the road. Because Curves is an international organization, you can be welcomed at any branch around the world when you travel.

What is the workout environment like?
Curves is designed specifically for women, and our branch offers a friendly, encouraging environment. On your second day in the gym you'll almost certainly recognize some faces (especially if you come at the same time each day). Women frequently carry on cheerful (though perhaps a little out-of-breath) conversations while they work out and get to know one another's personalities and interests. The atmosphere is upbeat -- a place people enjoy being.
